Sisters and Brothers... 

Please mark your calendars for the next regular membership meeting on April 7, 2008. Your officers would like to extend a personal invitation as well as a recommendation for everyone to PLEASE try to attend this very important meeting. While all meetings are important, from time to time there are milestone meetings in our brotherhood. This should be one of those.

Golf League

The Local 82 Golf League kicks off our 17th season on Wednesday night April 2, 2008 at 4:30 PM at the Hawk course at Kittyhawk Golf Center. There are a few spots available. Please call Nick Comstock or Bill Melke if you are interested in playing.

Wireman's Golf Association

The 50th Annual WGA tournament will be held this year in Cleveland, Ohio. The dates are August 19 thru 22, 2008. This is a GREAT time to meet and socialize with over 400 other IBEW members from over 35 other local’s throughout the mid-west, east coast and Canada. Please contact Bill Melke or Nick Comstock if you are interested in going.

 

IMPORTANT "SPECIAL BENEFITS" MEETING

Mark your calendars for, Monday, April 21, 2008, 6:30 PM At the Local 82 Union Hall Spouses Invited There will be a meeting with your Retirement Funds and Health and Welfare plans to discuss the current status and future plans of the Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, 401-K and Health and Welfare funds for Local 82 members and their families. The Plan's Trustees, Administrators, Consultants, Council and Investment Advisors will be present. There is a lot happening in all of the funds. Please bring your questions, concerns, comments and suggestions. We can all work better together if we communicate and share our thoughts and ideas.
