Disney Baby introduces new nursery collection, Target puts line on sale

Where were these sets of Disney nursery when I was pregnant 9 years ago? Find Mickey and Minnie decorating a baby room at the time was simply impossible.

This month, however, Disney Baby brand has launched a collection of nursery with five themes of character: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Pooh & 101 Dalmatians. The collection of 75 pieces is available at Babies 'R' Us and includes sheets, blankets, receiving, mobile, storage elements, wall decor, changing pad covers, nightlights, soft rattles, gift sets and more again.Each item can be purchased separately so that parents can mix and match to get the look they want.

Another source for moms-to-be who are fans of Disney is the target. Stores and a Web site recently topped collection of Disney Mickey Mod nursery and nursery collection Disney Minnie Mod. Rooms include bedding sets, blankets, crib bumpers, mobiles, diaper stackers, nightlights, wall hangings and window valances. Both collections are on sale through Saturday, and items can be purchased individually.

Although Disney does not sell parts store collections of nursery, growing the brand Disney Baby is a priority there as well, a Disney executive said. More space in the redesigned stores is devoted to the good child, and the tower interactive plush characters designed to entertain the little ones.

I have a 2yr old daughter and a 10month old son. My daughter currently is sleeping a (pooh) toddler bed. My son is in a crib, he is walking and can get on and off a sofa or chair correctly. Question is in a few months should we get a toddler bed for my son or a toddler bunk bed. They will have to share a room for a couple years. She is in the stage where if he has a toy she’ll take it from him. If we get a toddler bed should we get to match the one we have now or should we get her a girly one?

Whatever beds you get make sure they are the same thing or yes they will fight. And avoid the bunk beds. Growing up my sister fell off hers and broke her arm badly. If your really limited on space you could try a trundle bed.
