Photo sharing sites let you upload all your pictures, then notify friends and relatives. Unlike sharing your pictures on Facebook, you don't need to worry about who sees them. You send email invitations for access.
They go to the photo sharing site to see the shots. No more clogged inboxes. No worries about the photos ending up on the Internet forever. Everyone is happy. They can view, print and even order their favorite pictures on anything from an apron to an iPhone case.
Best of all, these sites are free or low-cost.

With a free membership, you can upload 300 megabytes per month. Each photo can be 15 megabytes. Your file size will vary with quality and resolution. But an 8-megapixel camera creates 4MB files, roughly. You can also upload two videos per month. They can be 90 seconds and up to 150MB.
You can view your 200 most recent photos. You'll only be able to see smaller images. However, high resolution images are saved in case you upgrade.
Paid accounts ($25 annually) get unlimited uploads. Photos can be up to 20MB. You can also upload video files up to 90 seconds and 500MB. There is no limit to the number of photos you can see.
Flickr also lets you geotag photos. This places your photos on a map. And it has editing tools. Of course, you can also organize and share your photos. Privacy controls let you limit who can access your photos. Photos can be uploaded from your desktop and the Web. You can also upload via email and by phone.
•Snapfish is HP's photo and video sharing site. It gives you unlimited storage. But that requires "active participation." It is defined as at least one photo purchase per year. Otherwise, your photos could be deleted.
Snapfish doesn't specify a limit on file sizes. However, your upload speed may affect the resolution of images. All photos must be in the JPEG file format. It also says that it may resize images over 9 megapixels. Videos may be in a number of popular formats. These include MOV, MPEG, AVI and WMP. You can also upload 3GP mobile phone videos.

Google Picasa also has a built-in, web-based photo editor called picnic. With picnic, you can edit the photos or add pieces of clipart. For instance, add a soccer ball to the scene or face paint to your friend's faces. You're sure to get a laugh.

The last Illyrian stronghold, of which their defence won the admiration of Roman historians, is said to have been Arduba. Bato of Daesitiates was captured and taken to Italy. Bato spent the rest of his life in the Italian town of Ravenna. The Great Illyrian revolt was a rising up of Illyrians against the Romans, more specifically a revolt against Tiberius' attempt to recruit them for his war against the Germans. The Illyrians put up a fierce resistance to the most powerful army on earth at the time (the Roman Army) for four years (AD 6 to AD 9), but they were finally subdued by Rome in AD 9, with the Roman side suffering heavy losses. It was precisely in what is now Bosnia and Herzegovina that Rome fought one of the most difficult battles in its history since the Punic Wars, as described by the Roman historian Suetonius. Conflict between the Illyrians and Romans started in 229 BC, but Rome would not complete its annexation of the region until AD 9. Formerly one of the six federal units constituting the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Bosnia and Herzegovina gained its independence during the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a parliamentary republic, which has a bicameral legislature and a three-member Presidency composed of a member of each major ethnic group.
