United We Stand is like living in a big family where everybody helps each other. My parents tell me that the United States of America is the same, a big family that helps each other. My mom and dad are fair to my sister, brother and me. America is the same with lots of families that stand united to make America great!

Our military men and women stand united against terrorism. They are fighting for our freedom in Iraq. They are trying to help the frightened people who live there. Our soldiers never leave a wounded soldier alone. They stand united to bring the hurt soldiers back to safety.
Thank you to our American heroes!

"United We Stand" is a motto that has been used in many famous president's speeches throughout our history. This phrase has also been sung in many songs by famous artists. "United We Stand" means that together we must stand strong because if we are divided we will fall. This motto has personal meaning to me. Together we can conquer any challenge in the world, in our United States of America, in our community of Granite City and in our families. Together we can fight wars, end hunger and poverty and support families that are dealing with personal tragedies.
Our military has been fighting wars for centuries. My grandpa fought in World War II. My uncle Jimmy fought in the Vietnam War and is now in a wheelchair from being shot and paralyzed in that war. I have several family friends like Tom and Joel who are still fighting against terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our military heroes stand united fighting for our freedom every day so that we can go to school, go to church and live our lives freely.
Did you know that Catholic Charities helps people all across the country and people all around the world? Catholic Charities has sent donations and services to help the people who have been devastated by the earthquakes and tsunamis in Japan. Catholic Charities here in Granite city helps families in need. They provide health care, job training, housing, food and most important, love and support. They help people regardless of their religion.

The note is one of four exchanges between the lovers, written between 1801 and 1806, loaned to the Nelson Museum in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. Curator Hannah Bentley said: 'People often say Nelson was quite cold and austere, but the letters reveal the
As I periodically do, a reminder: The term "Love Letters" is simply a tribute to a column in one of the newspapers I read as a young boy in Michigan, the Detroit Free Press. So if you're looking for something steamier, well, go to your local
"Though fiction was my first love — I had wanted to be the great American novelist — I lacked the exceptional memory that novelists need." Told that "Cat Man," with its elaborately detailed descriptions of circus life, had to require a first-rate
USA is the place to be, for great people, just you and me. United we stand. What does that mean to an American kid like me? Well let me tell you. United. United means never walking away, to fight not for you but for the person next to you,
In addition, Larson - drawing on letters, diaries, memoirs, or other historical documents - backs up Dodd's frustrating attempts to get some of the massive World War I debt owed to the US by Germany, to empty promises and no avail by the foreign power,

‘Even in bed my ideas yearn towards you, my Immortal Beloved, here and there joyfully, then again sadly, awaiting from Fate, whether it will listen to us. I can only live, either altogether with you or not at all. Yes, I have determined to wander about for so long far away, until I can fly into your arms and call myself quite at home with you, can send my soul enveloped by yours into the realm of spirits – yes, I regret, it must be. You will get over it all the more as you know my faithfulness to you; never another one can own my heart, never – never!
‘You fear sometimes I do not love you as much as you wish? My dear Girl, I love you ever and ever and without reserve. The more I have known, the more have I loved. In every way, -even my jealousies have been agonies of Love; in the hottest fit I ever had I would have died for you. I have vexed you too much. But for Love! Can I help it? You are always new. The last of your kisses was ever the sweetest, the last smile the brightest; the last movement the gracefullest. When you passed my window home yesterday, I was filled with as much admiration as if I had seen you for the first time. You uttered a half complaint once that I only loved your beauty. Have I nothing else then to love in you but that? Do I not see a heart naturally furnished with wings imprison itself with me? No ill prospect has been able to turn your thoughts a moment from me.’
‘You will only expect a few words. What will those be? When the heart is full it may run over; but the real fullness stays within…words can never tell you…how perfectly dear you are to me – perfectly dear to my heart and soul. I look back and in every one point, every word and gesture, every letter, every silence – you have been entirely perfect to me – I would not change one word, one look. My hope and aim are to preserve this love, not to fall from it – for which I trust to God, who procured it for me, and doubtless can preserve it. Enough now, my dearest own Ba! You have given me the highest, completest proof of love that ever one human being gave another. I am all gratitude – and all pride…that my life has been so crowned by you.”
Six years have gone by since I made my first great success in life and won you, and thirty years have passed since Providence made preparation for that happy success by sending you into the world.
